I finally received my Cherry Culture order from when they had 40 percent off of everything a couple weeks ago and I wanted to show you my mini-haul! I also attempted to take swatches of the lipsticks I purchased but the lighting was pretty bad so I only got two (the left one is with flash is and the right picture is without flash). Here’s a list of what I purchased and mini descriptions and first impressions of the products.
- Round Lipstick in B52 (LSS 565): My favorite lipstick out of the this mini-haul, and it’s a darker rose-pink color and is now part of my ‘my lips but better’ collection of work-appropriate lipsticks.
- Round Lipstick in Femme (LSS 643): One of my friends on Twitter recommended that I try this lipstick because of its awesome color, and I must say…I really like it! It’s a cross between orange coral with hints of pink and it’s quite bright.
- Round Lipstick in Doll (LSS 635): Another pink-toned lipstick, and I really like the fact that it’s moisturizing especially since it’s finally cold and windy in Wisconsin.
- Slim Eye Pencil in Sapphire (SPE 913): This is a sapphire-toned liner (mid-cobalt blue) with a hint of shimmer. Personally, I really like this color of liner and I’ve been trying to collect more eyeliners that aren’t black so I’m pleased. It’s really affordable as well!
- NYX Powder Blush in Copper (PB 21): This product is a gorgeous light rusty orange-brown blush with hints of gold glitter. It’s buildable and wears for around four hours.
- Mega Shine Lipgloss in Garnet (LG 139): …*sigh* This is a really pretty dark red holiday gloss with good pigmentation and decent wear (around four hours). I sigh because the smell is the biggest deterrent. It is the most overpowering fake cherry (think cough syrup) scent I have smelled in a while. Do not recommend if you’re sensitive to scents.
